[19] Ducks (and geese)
Today, we spent an hour at the park with ducks. Chasing them, running from them, taking a gazillion pictures of them. Ducks are strangely comforting animals.

We spent four hours here today - my grandmother sewing and mending, while I sat and listened to the gentle hum of the sewing machine. She told me about the very first thing she ever sewed, a long white dress with pink roses around the bottom of the skirt. She was my age.
